About me

I am primarily a director of photography and I also enjoy working as a focus puller and loader. I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa, but have now found a new home in Rome, Italy. I have a background working mostly on commercials in South Africa, and since moving to Italy, I have been exploring more opportunities in narrative productions.

I try to bring a strong technical foundation and a practical approach to visual storytelling, with work focused on considered, intentional imagery. I consider myself a technical and detail oriented person - and a bit of a nerd at times. I also enjoy things like analogue photography and making cool stuff with 3D printing.

I really enjoy working in collaborative environments where efficiency, preparation and quick problem-solving matter. I like to work closely with my team to translate ideas into clear, workable images, and | value clarity, adaptability, and a calm presence on set.
